Mental Health & Suicide Awareness Week, taking place February 27 through March 3, cohosted by Texas A&M University Student Government Association and Aggies Reaching Aggies

Texas A&M University Student Government Association (SGA) & Aggies Reaching Aggies (ARA) present Mental Health & Suicide Awareness Week — a weeklong initiative designed to raise awareness, reduce stigma and promote self-care.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27TH

  • Talk Saves Lives-  Participants will learn common risk factors and warning signs associated with suicide, and how to keep themselves and others safe. This will be a virtual training for faculty and staff.

    • Join us for a discussion on mental health with Dr. Fahrenwald, Associate Vice President for University Health Services, Kristie De La Garza, CAPS Licensed Professional Counselor, Ethan Tan, Vice President of Student Services with SGA, and Jordan Nixon, graduate student/former athlete.
