Undocumented/DACAmented Students

Howdy! Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Texas A&M University welcomes you! This page serves both as a welcome to DREAMers and as a resource to those who are undocumented/ DACAmented and/or allies. We are looking forward to assisting you in meeting your academic, career, and personal needs as you adjust to college life and pursue your educational goals.

Counseling may not be something you are familiar with or part of your cultural upbringing, and you may have hesitations about it, but it can be valuable to your university experience in many ways. Meeting with a counselor can help you understand how the challenges of being an undocumented/DACAmented student may be affecting your well-being or functioning. Together, you and your counselor can develop a plan for your emotional care.

CAPS is committed to protecting your privacy. None of your information will be distributed to anybody outside of CAPS, with the exception of circumstances listed in our Client Confidentiality Statement.
