Aggies Reaching Aggies

March 23, 2020 by mcolson

  • Aggies Reaching Aggies is a brand-new initiative coming to the Texas A&M University campus community!  Volunteers will facilitate Gatekeeper presentation on the topic of suicide prevention, support, and mental health to fellow students.
  • To be a volunteer, you just need to be a currently enrolled student in any major and educational background.  All current undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply!  No prior experience, don't worry!  All Peer Educator volunteers complete a thorough interview and training prior to presenting, and they receive on-going supervision and continuing education.
  • Volunteers include both undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds, career interests, and majors.  We value having students who represent a broad range of interests.
  • The applications for the Fall 2020 Semester are open!  Applications are due August 1st by 5:00 pm.  Interviews will be a rolling process.  Trainings will begin during Gig'em Week!  Please visit our new website to learn more about the application process!
