Approach to Therapy and Professional Interests

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that clients are the experts of their lives and have the capacity for change. I draw from person-centered, psychodynamic, and solution-focused interventions to help clients resolve internal and external conflicts and develop healthy coping mechanisms. My professional interests include trauma, eating issues, anxiety, depression, and identity exploration.

Personal Statement on Diversity and Social Justice

β€œAn individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.” – Martin Luther King, Jr. I strive to continuously educate myself on the injustices of society so that I can help more promote a more inclusive environment. I believe each person deserves respect regardless of their individual differences.

Personal Interests

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, reading, listening to true crime podcasts, embroidering, and playing with my dog.
