Approach to Therapy and Professional Interests

My approach to therapy is to view clients as the experts on themselves, with my role being one of support and collaboration on the journey toward change. I am particularly interested in working with the LGBTQ+ community, identity-related issues, and individuals ranging in age from adolescence through young adulthood.

Personal Statement on Diversity and Social Justice

I place a great deal of value on diversity, inclusion, and social justice. I take an identity-affirming approach in all my work, particularly in the treatment of LGBTQ+ individuals. My goal is to listen, understand, affirm, and respect all facets of a client's background and identity.

Personal Interests

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing board games, and going to the movies. I have been known to walk into a movie theater just to buy popcorn. My favorite travel destinations are Italy and Japan. I also have two goofy Labradors who demand all my attention at home.
