Approach to Therapy and Professional Interests
I take a person-center approach to therapy and make allowance for interpersonal, emotional, and cognitive-behavioral influences. Using techniques from these approaches I aim to meet my clients where they are on their journeys and provide an environment where overall wellness develops. My professional interests include assisting clients in awareness and understanding of their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.
Personal Statement on Diversity and Social Justice
I continually work toward developing my multicultural competence and understanding my personal privilege and bias. I intend to actively listen, learn, and gain knowledge and understanding from others and their experiences. I strive to create an inclusive space for all and advocate for diversity and social justice.
I enjoy cooking/baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
